J&M Products Inc is Hiring a Customer Service Representative/Data Entry Near San Fernando, CA

J&M Products is seeking a Customer Service Representative to work directly with Inside Sales to perform day to day customer service in support of ongoing programs while improving the overall customer relationships for assigned accounts. This person will communicate with customers in a professional manner to answer questions and requests that are received directly or by inside sales. Excellent computer skills are needed since the majority of your day will be spent behind a computer entering orders, quotes, and other data into our ERP system and excel spread sheets.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for data entry of purchase orders, quotes, customer records, and general information into our ERP System and Excel spread sheets.
  • Formally acknowledge all purchase orders to customers.
  • Scanning and filing purchase orders.
  • Communicating with customers on their order ship dates, recovery ship dates, and any follow up questions.
  • Work directly with Inside Sales.
  • Handle difficult customer related situations and find solutions to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Takes information from customers regarding order discrepancies. Works with Inside Sales on RMA’s and resolutions.
  • Maintain a positive attitude with the J&M Product’s team as well as customers at all times.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma (Required)
  • AA/BA Degree (Preferred, but not required)
  • 3 to 5 years of Customer Service Representative Exp.
  • 3 to 5 years of Administrative Asst. Exp.
  • Data Entry into an ERP system (Desirable, but not required)
  • Job related experience
  • Excellent communication skills verbal and written
  • Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Excel
  • Commitment to customer service
  • Takes pleasure in learning
  • Enjoys working with others in a team environment
